AND YET, the R.S.S and its official mouthpiece – ORGANISER - have not uttered a word on it. They are supposedly the saviours of Hindus. They always talk of Hindus and Hindu-Asmita. But the Hindu pilgrims who died in the stampede did not deserve even a mention in their officials organs. IT IS terrible, to say the least, to observe the total omission of such a big and tragic News that struck the nation on one of the most significant days of the Hindu Calender, Makar Sakranti, when lakhs of devotees wish to have Darshan of the MAKAR JYOTI.
NOW, IT IS POINTLESS TO ASK: WHY ?
TIMES HAVE CHANGED.....IT is bound to HURT much more the lakhs of us, HINDUS, who have had such a great admiration for this organisation. IT IS owing to the relentless efforts of the R.S.S. that we could save our lives and cross over to our new destiantion, HINDUSTAN, after the partition in 1947 !!
...Let us face it. Hindus do not have any shoulders now to cry upon. And their leaders quite clearly are more interested in the PAST than in the PRESENT, OR, perhaps THEY think they are already on the verge of the most shining FUTURE...so, just let it pass. Our weakness is well known to others. We HINDUS, are the easiest to Quit. We can simply put the blame on our Destiny and forget about it. No one cares raise a voice and turn some heat on the irresponsible rulers...
THINK OF IT: The Chief Minister of Kerala has a cheek to offer such meaningless alibies “impossible to guess the number of pilgrims" …or, “what could anyone do when it comes to the faith of some people”.
IT IS AN ANNUAL EVENT. More and more pilgrims, year after year, are going to have Darshans and yet in the name of arrangements, the Kerala Government can post just 3 cops for 3 lakh pilgrims - WHAT A SHAME!!!
AND, It is not the first time that such a tragedy has struck. And, also knowing fully well that the communists' led Kerala Government could hardly be expeected to do anything about it,
Why could'nt the R.S.S. use "thousands" of their Swaymsevaks to manage the ANNUAL EVENT?
Trust me, God forbid, a tragedy of such a magnitude happening with anyother community would have seen the whole populace rising against the terrible CONDITIONS and GROSS MISMANAGEMENT, and the Kerala Government could have been put on the Hold for Ever, for such an indifferent, arrogant and obtrusive attitude.
Why could'nt some Human-Rightists go to the Governer and ask permission to file a suit against the CHIEF MINISTER ? BUT WHY SHOULD ANYONE BOTHER?, WHEN EVEN THE R.S.S. CHOOSES TO IGNORE !!
IT IS TIME, RSS recognsies their ACTUAL ROLE;
IT IS TIME, RSS does some INTROSPECTION.
AND, Why Sabrimala alone? Has RSS ever raised a voice against the conditions of any of their pilgrim centres? The aminities, the cleanliness, the sanctity - Be it Sabrimala, Kashi, Mathura, or anywehre else - are on RAM BHAROSE !!. Has anyone from R.S.S. ever noticed the shit and filth floating at the so-called “Brahm-Sarover” at Kurukshetra(PEHVA) where thousands go everyday for offering the mandatory. all important, Oblations, for their beloved, their dead, seeking peace for the departed souls ??
NO WONDER, THE YOUNGER GENERATION OF HINDUS IS FAST LOSING THEIR FAITH, THEIR RITUALS, THEIR VALUES!!!
